A Day In The Life...

Well... at least the hole in my foot is gone. Damned Deamon. Damn him to hell.

I knew Vera had some sort of mind powers, so I thought maybe that if I thought hard enough a message to her, it might find a way to her.

Vera, this is J, although Jewduh isn't my real name. My real name is Peter, but it stays Jewduh for safe keeping. I need to know where you are, I need to know you are safe. Please come to me, or tell me to meet you somewhere.

I kept thinking that one thought, all while I was walking through this small town.

"Hey," I heard a tiny whisper, apparently only meant for one such as me to hear. It came from a small alley next to where I was standing.
"Vera? Is that you?" I asked, cautiously walking towards the darkness.
"Yes, Peter, it's me. I heard your message, and I never thought you would care for me the way I ca-" she stopped there, wide-eyed. By this time I was close enough to see her. One cool thing about myself. I can see in the dark.
"Come on, get up from there, let me help you," I said offering her my hand.
"Alright," she said getting up with my help, but then hitting her foot on something and tripping. She fell into me, and by shere reaction I pulled my arms around her, holding her to make sure she doesn't fall again. She lifted her head to look at me, and I looked back, our eyes meeting. Then slowly, but surely, I leaned in, carefully so not to scare her away, but she did not run. I softly pressed my lips to hers.

Then Christina came, with Garrison (is it?), they both looked distressed. When Christina saw us, she just stood there, smiling. Garrison had a grin on his face, one not of happiness, but of "lucky".

"Ok, so where to now from here?" I asked, my arm still around Vera, her head resting against my chest.
"Well, we were looking for you two, but seemingly you've already been found, both figuratively and by each other," Garrison said.
"We're going back to Vera and my Clan House," Christina stated.
"Alright let's go, how far and to where? I can fly, Garrison,"
"Just follow us," Christina said, lifting Garrison ( sorry can't know if he can fly..) off his feet, and jumping in the air. I did the same for Vera, and we flew off, following Christina closely, but far away enough to where they couldn't hear us.

I turned my face to the wind as we flew. I've always liked flying. i smiled.

"So, Peter, how did you know that i could tell what your thinking?" i gave him a sly smile.

"Your telekentic so i just kinda figured." he smiled back.

I knew that he cared for me.

"So, did you like rescue Stone from the gates of hell or what?"

he laughed, "Well not exactly, i was on a plane and it crashed, stranding me on an island. i saw him stuck in a giant chunk of ice and unfroze him. I didn't even know he was a deamon until he put a spike through my foot."

"I'll have to thank him personally for that later." i muttered.

Peter ignored my comment.

We were silent for a moment.


Peter, where were you all these years? i thought, i thought it so Peter could here it too.

He looked down on me and smiled.

"HOW MUCH LONGER ARE WE GOING TO BE IN THE AIR?!" I screamed, relentless with my volume.
"Not a short flight, it'll be a while!" Christina called back.
"Good, I'm going to need the time," I said, more to myself, but apparently Vera heard me.
"Why?" she asked.
"Well I thought maybe we should get to know each others' history...?"
"Yes, that sounds like a solid idea, but you go first,"
"Alright," I said, chuckling. Wow, she is amazing.

"Of course you know I wasn't born a vampire. So I guess, it would be best to start from when I remember, because we can't remember anything of our human lives...." I paused there, to gather my thoughts.

"I was, in human years, only eight. Young, but no matter. I had no family, I lived in an adoption home. I lived there, I think, for all of my life. As I was told, my parents died in a wagon accident (lol), after I was born."

"I was adopted by two people, a couple. About three years after they adopted me, I became very increduelously sick. I would have died, had it not been for them. They told me they were going to save me... I had no idea where, or what was going on. They took me into the house, closed all the doors, locked them, covered all the windows, and converted me."

After that, they kept everything a secret, knowing I would be an outcast as soon as someone came to know. Everyone in that town was religous, except for us, although some were very curious about us."

"Any questions?" I asked, holding her tighter.

i smiled. "Not really. ok My turn."

"I was born England in 1800 to a couple that really wasn't ready for a family. To save the'r hides from being put into debter's prison, they shipped me off to the new world.

A old woman and her husband found me on the dock and took me in. I lived my life mostly happily tending the garden, going to school and things like that.

Unfortunally the man that i called my father beat my mother and me until we had bruises the size of grapefruits.

I was walking home from school one day when a vampire, pulled me off the road and knocked me out.

when i woke up, my new fangs cut into my tounge. I know that vampires don't remember their human memories but i tried hard to remember my human life. So i wouldn't forget." i sighed. my story was finally told.

"well, for the first few years i tried to find you." i replied tersly. "then i just gave up hope. so i formed my clan."
"oh. sorry. but i didn't ask to join! i was forced. i told you." he said."i missed you."
"i missed you too."
"well now your stuck with me. im not going anywhere." he reasured me.

i hope not..... then i laughed.

"what?" garrison asked.
"lets just say vera and peter (right?) are clearly going to get along just fine." i said.
"bet they aren't the only ones..." garrison whispered.

if i could, i would have blushed. we stared at eachother for a few seconds. he started to lean inward twards me....

"we're here!" vera called. and her an peter began slowly heading down.

"you can, um, land behind the house." i said. then suddenly garrison began spiraling twards the ground in a free-fall. just before we hit the ground he slowed down and stopped just as his feet touched the grass. it was his classic way to do his best at scaring me to death.

"you know i hate that." i said. though i couldn't help but smile.
"i know." he said, laughing.

"christina?" aurora called from the back door. "christina! vera! where have you been? oh. who are they?"
"this is peter and garrison." i told her. i could tell she remembered garrison from stories of my past.
"oh. well nice to meet you both. but jason told me about one more. stone, i think. the demon?" she said.
"stone will not be joining us." peter replied with an edge to his voice.
"come on, lets go inside. it about to rain again. lightning this time." i said.

the five of us entered the house only to almost run into jason.
"i was, uh, just leaving." he said. he seemed very angry about something.
"rose is not far." i whispered to him. "only about 10 miles west of here. she's trying to hide from you."
"thanks." he said. and after giving a harsh look to vera, he stepped out into the rain.

I shot a venamous(sp?) look at jason as he walked out the door.

i don't know what was wrong with that guy, what he had against me, but i was going to fix it.

I'm going to go talk to Jason. stay here and if any of the others ask, tell them what i'm doing. i told Peter mentally.

I waited until Jason was out the door and then i politly(sp?) excused myself and followed him.

"Jason." i called after him.

"Wait," I grabbed Vera on the way out the door," why the crap did you tell me that in my mind if you just wanted me to say it outloud anyway, and you spelled venomous wrong by the way."

"What?!" then she left without another word.

I turned to see everyone looking at me, some more suspiciously than others.

"What?" I asked, shruggin and looking around at all of them.

"i guess, then i'll just stay here...." garrison said.
"so jason didn't tell me how you two came to be so close in the last few days. tell me, won't you?" aurora asked peter and garrison as i was leaving the room.
garrison nodded and said, "um, okay......peter, why don't you go first?"

a side note though; vampires do sleep. twilight is absolutely the only story were vampires dont. they sleep on stone slabs and in coffins during the day.

note: your right bout the sleeping thing but coffins? what did you read? Dracula? nowadays they either dont sleep at all of they sleep in a freezer. or on an actual bed like a human being. just wanted to correct you on your flawd thinking.
